Launched in late 2025, the bedBED has quickly gained industry traction, securing a Domino Good Design Award ahead of this latest recognition. Conceived by an AD100 designer and Montessori-focused parents, the furniture addresses a specific gap in the market for adaptable sleeping solutions. The system allows toddlers to begin on a low-profile floor bed before transitioning into a raised configuration as they grow.
Constructed in Europe from FSC-certified wood, the bed holds GREENGUARD Gold certification, reflecting the brand’s focus on non-toxic, sustainable manufacturing. Parents testing the product praised the material quality, specifically the birch finish. Priced at $499, the unit includes a removable safety rail for early transitions, with optional accessories like wall-protecting headboards and integrated book hooks available to customize the setup. Co-founders Aneta Kostic and Ali Tavsanoglu designed the bed to foster independence, ensuring the structure remains functional through various childhood developmental stages.
