The Cambridge-based firm, which holds 323,394.38 ZEC, continues to double down on its digital asset strategy. According to CEO Douglas E. Onsi, the company remains committed to Zcash as a foundational monetary asset, further evidenced by the appointment of Dev Ojha, founder of Valar Group, as a strategic advisor.
Beyond its cryptocurrency treasury, Cypherpunk’s subsidiary, Leap Therapeutics, secured a critical path forward for its oncology program. The company reached alignment with the FDA on a Phase 3 trial design for sirexatamab, targeting patients with DKK1-high metastatic colorectal cancer. While the drug failed to meet its primary endpoint in a broader patient population during Phase 2 trials, the company is now pursuing a biomarker-selected approach to support potential accelerated approval. Leap is currently evaluating strategic alternatives to fund the development of the drug, including a possible spin-out or partnership.
