The firm’s initiative aims to provide end-to-end support across the AI lifecycle, moving beyond simple advisory roles into direct assurance and risk management. Frank Milano, U.S. Assurance leader at Deloitte, noted that the gap between corporate ambition and actual assurance is expanding as organizations deploy systems capable of making critical, high-stakes decisions. The new service model focuses on embedding compliance directly into AI solutions, covering everything from model validation and financial reporting integrity to regulatory readiness. By partnering with hyperscalers, Deloitte intends to bake governance into the infrastructure from the initial development phase rather than treating it as an afterthought. Sarah Fedele, Assurance Strategy and Transformation leader, emphasized that the organizations poised to lead in the current era are those that prioritize this foundational infrastructure. The services are built upon the firm's existing Trustworthy AI framework, ensuring that as companies scale their autonomous agents, they maintain transparency and meet evolving global regulatory requirements.
