ChronicCareIQ Names Tom Visotsky as Chief Revenue Officer

Tom Visotsky, a veteran healthcare technology executive and former kidney transplant patient, has joined ChronicCareIQ as its new Chief Revenue Officer. The move signals a strategic push by the Atlanta-based software firm to scale its operations and expand its reach among Medicare-focused medical practices across the United States.

Visotsky takes the helm of the company’s revenue strategy, sales organization, and partnership development at a time when the firm is looking to solidify its market position. CEO Matt Ethington emphasized that Visotsky’s background—which spans over two decades at firms including Health Gorilla, MedAllies, and Cerner—brings a rare mix of commercial rigor and first-hand experience with the frustrations of a fragmented medical system.

For Visotsky, the transition to the care management platform is rooted in his own five-year journey with chronic kidney disease. He intends to leverage the software’s ability to identify patient risks and streamline practice revenue to bridge the gap between reactive treatment and proactive prevention. The company currently reports that its platform helps providers reduce all-cause hospitalizations by 29.4% while generating an average of $13,000 in monthly reimbursements per physician.
