Reinke brings over two decades of industry experience to the role, having previously held leadership positions at major appliance manufacturers including Samsung and Whirlpool. His appointment, announced August 6, serves as part of a planned transition period with Herrington to ensure continuity for the Parsippany-based subsidiary of the global Midea Group.

Avent Bai, president of the Midea Americas region, noted that the promotion highlights the company's internal talent development strategy. Since joining the firm in 2024, Reinke has been credited with driving operational improvements and maintaining strong relationships with retail partners. Midea America continues to focus on expanding its domestic footprint with its portfolio of kitchen, laundry, and air conditioning appliances, supported by its innovation hub in Kentucky.
