The International Stock Exchange (TISE) reached record-breaking territory in the first half of 2026, recording an aggregate market value of £813 billion by June 30. This performance represents a 6.6% year-on-year increase in total listings, bringing the exchange's Official List to 4,861 securities. CEO Cees Vermaas attributed the growth to the venue's resilience, noting that TISE continues to serve as a primary European destination for bond issuers despite uncertainty in international credit markets.

Driving these figures were strong gains in private equity debt and high-yield instruments. The exchange recorded 159 new private equity debt listings and 72 high-yield bonds, the latter marking a 9.1% year-on-year rise. Furthermore, TISE solidified its dominance in the real estate sector, maintaining its position as the largest market for UK REITs with 41 total listings. Geographic diversification remains a core feature of the exchange, with issuers now hailing from 39 territories. UK-based entities led the intake at 43.4%, followed by 32.4% from the European Union and 5.9% from the United States.
