Rackspace Investors Face September Deadline in Securities Fraud Suit

Investors who purchased Rackspace Technology stock between May 7 and July 8, 2026, face a September 28 deadline to seek lead plaintiff status in a pending class action lawsuit. Schall, Brown & Schwartz LLP is representing shareholders alleging the company misled the market regarding its enterprise AI business and declining cloud revenues.

The complaint alleges that Rackspace violated the Securities Exchange Act of 1934 by issuing materially misleading statements. According to the filing, the company diverted investment and capacity away from its profitable Private Cloud business to support enterprise AI initiatives. This shift, coupled with a transition of customers toward hyperscale platforms, caused a significant decline in revenue that was not adequately disclosed to investors during the class period. When the market eventually learned of these operational challenges, the company's stock value suffered, resulting in financial losses for shareholders.

Attorneys Brian Schall and David Schwartz are inviting affected investors to discuss their legal rights and potential recovery options. While the class has not yet been certified, interested parties may contact the firm’s Los Angeles office to participate in the litigation. Participation as a lead plaintiff is optional, and shareholders who choose not to take action remain absent class members until formal certification occurs.
