Nuvion Secures SOC 2 Type I Certification to Boost Enterprise Trust

Miami-based banking and cross-border payments platform Nuvion has secured its first SOC 2 Type I report, confirming the design of its security, availability, and confidentiality controls. This independent validation marks a pivotal step for the AI-driven firm as it seeks to deepen partnerships with regulated financial institutions globally.

The SOC 2 Type I examination measures a technology provider’s control environment against the rigorous AICPA Trust Services Criteria. For Nuvion, which leverages both fiat and stablecoin infrastructure, this certification serves as a critical entry point for large-scale procurement processes. Managing Director Keisha Clark noted that the achievement validates the company's internal culture, where security and compliance are integrated into the daily operations of teams ranging from engineering to risk management.

By formalizing these security frameworks—including enhanced identity management, vulnerability monitoring, and standardized operational policies—Nuvion aims to streamline due diligence for multinational corporations and fintech partners. The company is now pivoting toward a SOC 2 Type II examination, which will evaluate the operating effectiveness of these controls over time. This push for transparency is central to Nuvion’s strategy as it expands its footprint across North America, Europe, and the Middle East, positioning itself as a secure bridge for businesses navigating digital financial infrastructure.
