The evaluation, conducted under extreme conditions, tested a fully charged 940 kWh liquid-cooled cabinet with thermal runaway intentionally triggered and all suppression systems disabled. Over a four-hour window, the system demonstrated structural integrity, preventing fire propagation to neighboring units without requiring corrective actions. The results were independently verified by TÜV Rheinland and the Energy Safety Response Group.
KuBank 3.0 utilizes an independent physical compartment architecture and high-strength, fire-resistant materials to isolate potential hazards. Its integrated cooling system maintains battery temperature deviations within 3°C, while multi-stage monitoring provides early detection of thermal events. With mass production now underway, the system offers flexible 400V, 690V, and 800V architectures, positioning it for immediate commercial use.
