ACECO Volunteers Equip 250 Students for the Upcoming School Year

Two hundred and fifty backpacks filled with essential school supplies were distributed across Douglassville this week, the result of a coordinated effort between the American Crane & Equipment Corporation and the United Way of Berks County to ensure local students begin their academic term with necessary tools.

The Hoist Up! Outreach Committee, comprised of ACECO employees, assembled the kits to provide a reliable foundation for pupils heading back to the classroom. These supplies were handed off to four local organizations—Superheroes of Autism, One Luv Outreach, We Agape You Inc., and the office of Representative Johanny Cepeda-Freytiz—which will manage the final delivery to families in need.

Stephanie Delibertis, executive director of outreach and development at ACECO, noted that the initiative highlights the impact of collaborative community work. The project serves as a recurring effort for the company, which plans to continue its support of regional education through similar outreach programs.
