The integration connects Applied Information’s cloud-based Glance system with Esri’s global mapping software, creating a bridge for agencies that rely on location intelligence. By aligning these technologies, departments can now manage traffic signals, school zone safety systems, and emergency vehicle preemption through the spatial tools already embedded in their existing government workflows.

Bryan Mulligan, President of Applied Information, noted that the partnership validates the company's focus on spatial intelligence. For agencies, this means improved coordination during emergency responses and more precise management of connected vehicle deployments. According to Alex Temes, Director of GIS & Data, the collaboration ensures that Glance will function as a native extension of the mapping environments already used by municipal and public safety organizations. The agreement grants the Alpharetta-based company access to Esri developer resources and technical collaboration, setting the stage for more complex geospatial analytics in future traffic management projects.
