Daybright Financial Acquires ACAPrime to Boost ACA Compliance Services

Iselin-based Daybright Financial has acquired Indianapolis firm ACAPrime, a move designed to consolidate the company’s specialized health and welfare compliance offerings. The integration folds ACAPrime’s managed reporting services into the Daybright Broker Solutions division, aiming to streamline complex IRS filing and eligibility tracking for employers and benefits brokers nationwide.

The acquisition unites ACAPrime’s hands-on service model with Daybright’s existing NavigateHCR capabilities. By combining these resources, the firm intends to build a national service hub capable of addressing the rigorous demands of Affordable Care Act reporting, including IRS inquiries and workforce eligibility tracking. ACAPrime, established in 2014, brings a dedicated team of ERISA counsel and tax experts to the broader Daybright organization.

Daybright CEO Meg Schneider noted that the partnership leverages ACAPrime’s established reputation for simplifying data-heavy compliance tasks. Following the transition, ACAPrime’s current management and staff will remain in their roles, maintaining continuity for the firm’s existing client base. This deal marks the latest expansion for Daybright Financial, which has acquired 66 firms since 2008 to support its network of over 22,000 employer groups.
