Dr. Minor’s career spans 17 years, transitioning from roles as a critical care nurse and academic educator to his current administrative capacity. His recent focus centers on staff recruitment and regulatory development for the upcoming hospital, a project designed to establish new benchmarks for patient care efficiency. Before his move to the Houston Methodist system, he served as Director of Critical Care at Sarah Bush Lincoln, where he refined emergency protocols and team performance standards.

His clinical expertise is backed by a Doctor of Nursing Practice in healthcare systems leadership from Chamberlain University and board certifications in critical care and executive nursing. Beyond his administrative duties, Dr. Minor has contributed to national infusion standards through his research on blood sampling from midline catheters. This work has garnered international recognition, including a keynote address in Munich and the Illinois Nurses Foundation’s 40 Under 40 Emerging Nurse Leaders Award. Looking ahead, he intends to integrate smart hospital solutions and advanced connectivity to build sustainable, tech-enabled nursing models.
