The invention, dubbed Anthony’s Rechargeable TPMS, addresses the mechanical failure of sensors that often trigger false alerts due to drained power. Rather than requiring a costly battery replacement at a dealership or tire shop, the system allows for continuous operation through three specific charging methods: plug-in, solar, and kinetic energy harvesting. By maintaining a consistent charge, the sensor ensures that data transmitted to the vehicle’s computer remains accurate, saving drivers both time and repair expenses.
Currently patent-pending, the design is being managed by the Los Angeles office of InventHelp. The developer has already produced a prototype and technical documentation to demonstrate the system's integration into standard vehicle wheels. The technology is now open for licensing or direct acquisition by automotive manufacturers and aftermarket parts marketers looking to standardize more reliable tire monitoring solutions.
