The new curriculum, titled Nursing Communication and Resilience, shifts focus away from clinical competency toward the soft skills necessary for high-stress environments. Mukund Sudarsan, vice president of Professional Development Programs at the university, noted that these communication practices are vital for maintaining team coordination and positive patient outcomes in increasingly complex healthcare systems.

Delivered through a series of 60- to 90-minute online modules, the training covers active listening, self-awareness, and strategies for navigating difficult conversations. Participants receive certificates and skill badges upon completion, providing a portable credential for their professional portfolios. The program is designed to integrate into the demanding schedules of healthcare workers, offering practical, scenario-based learning that addresses the emotional toll of bedside care. By emphasizing these interpersonal competencies, the university intends to provide healthcare organizations with a scalable solution to support employee well-being and strengthen team cohesion.
