Potts Law Firm Files Fourth AI-Generated CSAM Lawsuit Against xAI

The complaint, lodged in the United States District Court for the Western District of Arkansas, alleges that technology deployed by xAI facilitated the creation of sexually explicit content involving the minor. The litigation seeks damages for the harms suffered by the child and his family, arguing that the developer failed to implement necessary safeguards to prevent such exploitation.

Derek Potts, the firm’s national managing partner, stated that the increasing number of families coming forward highlights a systemic failure in how AI companies manage their systems. He emphasized that developers bear a responsibility to prevent their software from being weaponized against children. As the firm continues to investigate further claims, they anticipate filing additional lawsuits as more families identify instances of digital exploitation involving their children.
