The company’s latest operating results reveal a complex landscape for the homebuilder. While net sales orders climbed to 2,532 units, the number of homes closed during the quarter fell by 10.4 percent to 3,143. Revenue for the period settled at $2.18 billion, down from $2.66 billion in the same quarter last year. The sales order backlog also saw a contraction, dropping 20 percent to 3,147 units.
Looking at the full fiscal year, Mattamy experienced a 7.9 percent revenue decline to $5.90 billion, with total home closings down slightly to 8,261. Despite these figures, net sales orders for the full year showed resilience, growing 8.6 percent to 7,474 homes.
