Azra AI and 4DMedical Partner to Automate Lung Health Care Pathways

Nashville-based Azra AI and global imaging firm 4DMedical have entered a strategic partnership to bridge the gap between initial lung condition detection and clinical intervention. By combining real-time AI report analysis with quantitative lung imaging, the companies aim to automate patient identification and ensure individuals are routed to specialized care.

The collaboration centers on a reseller and OEM agreement that allows 4DMedical to integrate Azra AI’s patient-identification platform into its existing diagnostic offerings. This workflow targets a wide spectrum of respiratory and cardiovascular issues, including COPD, interstitial lung disease, pulmonary nodules, and pulmonary embolism. Rather than relying on manual review, the platform continuously screens radiology reports to surface critical findings, automatically connecting patients with care navigators and specialists.

By layering 4DMedical’s quantitative analytics—specifically its FDA-cleared CT:VQ technology—onto Azra AI’s identification software, the partnership provides clinicians with measurable data on lung function alongside standard diagnostic reports. This integration is designed to move beyond disconnected point solutions, treating lung health as a unified service line. Both companies intend to launch joint go-to-market programs in the coming months, aiming to reduce the risk of patients with significant disease falling through the cracks of the healthcare system.
