Novi AMS Launches Amplify to Contextualize AI for Associations

Novi AMS has unveiled Amplify, an intelligence layer designed to integrate live organizational data with predictive AI capabilities. By embedding association-specific context directly into workflows, the platform aims to eliminate the need for staff to manually teach general-purpose AI tools the nuances of member cycles and dues structures.

Most association professionals currently rely on tools like ChatGPT or Claude, yet these systems often lack the foundational knowledge required to interpret member history, committee participation, or renewal timing. Amplify bridges this gap by merging an organization's live Novi data with industry-specific expertise, allowing the AI to understand the relationship between events, transactions, and member engagement.

Developed with input from more than 20 Certified Association Executives, the system operates across five core pillars: Predict, Ask, Connect, Act, and Secure. The 'Predict' feature utilizes machine learning to flag at-risk members through Member Health, while the 'Ask' function allows staff to query live data via the Novi Navigator assistant. Integration with external AI tools is handled through the Model Context Protocol, enabling secure connections without the need for manual data exports.

According to CEO Pete Zimek, the objective is to reduce tedious administrative burdens without requiring staff to become AI experts. While core features like Member Health and Navigator are available immediately, the platform's 'Act' capabilities—which focus on automated workflow preparation—remain in active development. The system is included in standard Novi AMS subscriptions, with additional usage credits available for purchase.
