Beyond her work at NAMI, Crawford maintains an active academic presence as an assistant professor of psychiatry at the Boston University Chobanian & Avedisian School of Medicine. She is a recognized expert in child and adolescent mental health, having authored a guide for caregivers on navigating pediatric psychiatric care.
