The expanded contract covers approximately 875,000 acres, combining dedicated land and right-of-first-refusal areas. To meet the operator’s long-term development needs, Select plans to construct 100 miles of new pipeline, three million barrels of storage capacity, and an additional 60,000 barrels per day of recycling capacity. This infrastructure buildout is slated for completion by the end of 2027.
Beyond immediate construction, the agreement grants Select an exclusive option to acquire saltwater disposal wells in Lea County, New Mexico, and Culberson County, Texas. These assets would be integrated into the company’s existing Permian Basin network, further scaling its disposal capabilities. CEO John Schmitz noted that the partnership builds on a relationship established in 2023, emphasizing that the project aims to deliver long-term cost efficiencies for the operator's capital and operating expenditures.
