The new site is strategically positioned to capture demand from several regional hubs, including the Maxwell Air Force Base, Auburn University at Montgomery, and the local Hyundai Motor Manufacturing Plant. Unlike many competitors that rely on renovated older properties, LivAway builds its hotels from the ground up to cater to guests staying for weeks or months at a time.
CEO Mike Nielson emphasized that the brand targets professionals, military personnel, and families who require more than a standard overnight stay. Each unit features a full kitchen and dedicated workspace, with floor plans designed to be 20% larger than the industry average. Beyond the Montgomery site, the company is actively developing additional properties across Florida, Georgia, and South Carolina to bolster its national portfolio.
