The rebranding effort includes a redesigned logo, an updated color palette, and a new visual system intended to emphasize accessibility and calm. According to CEO Carrie Walsh, the evolution responds to consumer research indicating that many people currently view downtime as an indulgence rather than a requirement. The company aims to dismantle this guilt, repositioning its more than 600 locations as welcoming spaces for routine decompression.
To amplify this new direction, the franchise has secured a partnership with Black Bear’s upcoming comedy, Spa Weekend, serving as the film's official relaxation partner. The movie, which hits theaters nationwide on August 21, features Leslie Mann, Isla Fisher, Michelle Buteau, and Anna Faris. To commemorate the collaboration, Hand & Stone is launching a limited-time Spa Weekend Treatment Package—combining massage and facial services—available at participating locations through October 1, 2026. Chief Revenue Officer Sherrill Kaplan noted that the partnership mirrors the brand's core mission of helping consumers navigate the pressures of modern life.
