The company’s primary growth engine, its Gene-to-Protein platform, now accounts for two-thirds of the total revenue within the Life Science Group. This segment combines automated experimental validation with global manufacturing capacity, allowing pharmaceutical innovators to transition from computational design to physical production without managing disparate service providers. Rotating CEO Sherry Shao noted that the firm is positioning itself as a critical infrastructure partner as AI reshapes the broader life sciences landscape.
Operational performance improved across key business units as well. ProBio saw revenue climb 34.2% to $61.1 million, with a 54% increase in new orders, putting the segment on track to achieve positive adjusted EBITDA by 2027. Meanwhile, the Bestzyme division recorded a 7.4% revenue increase to $30.4 million. By expanding digital workflows and global capacity, GenScript aims to support increasingly complex, high-volume projects that require both speed and consistency in drug development.
