The partnership leverages ACES India’s neutral digital infrastructure to host Reliance Jio’s network services throughout the metro’s tunnels, platforms, and concourses. Designed to accommodate an annual ridership of 625 million, the system aims to eliminate connectivity gaps in one of the city’s most vital transit arteries.
Dr. Akram Aburas, Group CEO of ACES, stated the collaboration aligns with the company’s objective to deploy future-ready technology in high-density urban settings. Mohammed N. Mazher, Managing Director of ACES India, added that the project demonstrates the firm’s technical capacity to manage complex, large-scale telecommunications deployments. By establishing this scalable ecosystem, the companies intend to meet the rising mobile data demands of Mumbai’s workforce and residents for the next quarter-century.
