Fernet-Branca Taps Austin England for Tattoo-Inspired Bottle Design

For decades, the iconic Italian amaro has been a staple in tattoo studios, a connection now etched onto glass. Los Angeles artist Austin England has reimagined the brand’s signature eagle emblem for the 2026 limited-edition bottle, blending classic tattoo flash imagery with the bitter liqueur's historic visual language.

The collaboration marks the third installment in Fernet-Branca’s U.S. Limited Edition series. Edoardo Branca, a sixth-generation member of the founding family, noted that the partnership reflects a shared dedication to craftsmanship that has defined the distillery since 1845. England, known for a multidisciplinary approach that spans neon fabrication and engraving, applied his "made to last" philosophy to the project, aiming to create a vessel that functions as a collectible piece of art for both home bars and professional back-bars.

Beyond the bottle, England developed a merchandise capsule featuring apparel and accessories that incorporate autumnal motifs and graphic flash-art styles. These items will be available online starting in September. The brand will celebrate the launch with an immersive showcase at England’s Los Angeles studio from September 15–18, featuring live tattooing and a gallery exhibition. The limited-edition bottle is currently hitting shelves nationwide with a suggested retail price of $34.99.
