Stephen Spencer, managing director at ACT Capital Advisors, described the deal as a strategic move to scale AMG’s business model. According to Spencer, the acquisition leverages StoneX’s massive global reach to elevate AMG’s supply chain capabilities. ACT Capital Advisors, which has facilitated over 250 transactions in its 40-year history, led the advisory process alongside managing director Ron Huff and associate Zack Hsieh. For StoneX, the purchase marks a further expansion of its risk management and market intelligence services within the commodities sector.
