The program, initially launched in 2021, was scheduled to conclude at the end of this month. Financial records indicate that Ohio Valley Banc Corp. had already repurchased approximately $2,967,000 in common stock as of August 18, 2026. Aside from the revised timeline, the bank has kept the core terms of the repurchase mandate unchanged. The board retains the authority to modify or terminate the buyback effort at any time before the new expiration date. Ohio Valley Banc Corp. operates primarily through its subsidiary, The Ohio Valley Bank Company, which manages 19 locations across Ohio and West Virginia, alongside the consumer finance firm Loan Central, Inc.
