The clinic, situated near the intersection of Interstate 95 and U.S. 70, provides a range of services including preventive maintenance, emergency dentistry, and restorative procedures like implants and crowns. For many in the area, the site eliminates the need to commute to neighboring towns for urgent care or routine cleanings. Dr. Spouh, an Indiana University School of Dentistry graduate who has worked with the network since 2018, emphasized that the location addresses a recurring local need for accessible, same-day appointments.
This expansion arrives as North Carolina grapples with a systemic lack of providers, with the U.S. Health Resources and Services Administration designating 93 of the state's 100 counties as Dental Health Professional Shortage Areas. Dr. Arwinder Judge, chief clinical officer at Aspen Dental, noted that these designations often force patients to travel long distances for treatment. By establishing a presence in a high-growth corridor, the company seeks to intervene before minor oral health issues escalate. The new office accepts major insurance plans and offers flexible financing to accommodate the growing community.
