Jenkins, who joined the company in 2024 and previously acted as General Counsel, adds this new mandate to his existing responsibilities as Vice Chairman and Secretary of the Board. His oversight will span health and safety, environmental compliance, human resources, and government relations, drawing on a career that includes a tenure as Senior Vice President of Legislative Affairs for the U.S. Chamber of Commerce.
Alongside Jenkins, the company elevated Tyler Adkins to General Counsel. Adkins, who has been with Ramaco since 2022, previously held legal positions at Blackhawk Mining and Cleveland-Cliffs. Tyler Fields moves into the role of Assistant General Counsel, bringing over fifteen years of mining industry experience to the position. Additionally, the company appointed Cameron Adkins as Director of Law, Finance, and Operations following his recent graduation from Harvard Law School. These changes take effect immediately as the company continues its metallurgical coal operations across Appalachia and its exploration of critical minerals in Wyoming.
