Fractal Launches Dedicated India Unit to Scale Enterprise AI

Fractal Analytics is establishing a dedicated India Business Unit to meet surging demand from local enterprises for large-scale artificial intelligence integration. The expansion follows the company’s recent involvement in the IndiaAI Mission and signals a pivot from pilot programs toward comprehensive, agentic AI-driven business transformation for the country’s largest organizations.

The new unit will leverage Fractal’s flagship agentic AI platform, Cogentiq, to provide local firms with the same enterprise-grade capabilities currently deployed by its Fortune 500 clients. Rishi Seth has been appointed to lead this division, operating under the oversight of Sandeep Dutta, Fractal’s Chief Practice Officer and Head of APAC. This move formalizes a long-standing presence in the country, where the company has already secured high-profile partnerships, including a collaboration with the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation to deploy the Vaidya.ai healthcare platform.

Fractal’s strategy centers on transitioning Indian businesses past experimental AI phases toward operational maturity. By integrating its three primary pillars—AI-led Transformation, AI Foundations, and AI Work & Workforce—the company aims to embed AI directly into critical decision-making workflows. Having already been selected under the government-backed IndiaAI Mission to develop a Large Reasoning Model, the firm is positioning itself as a primary architect for India's evolving AI ecosystem. The India Business Unit will integrate into the broader APAC practice to streamline the delivery of these proprietary technologies across the region.
