The transition marks an expansion of the existing partnership between the two companies, with Biogen looking to leverage the platform's agentic commercial model. This approach utilizes automated tools, such as the Agentic Call Report, to generate commercial evidence and refine strategic outreach. Guy Hadari, senior vice president and global CIO at Biogen, noted that the decision reflects a shared focus on innovation and customer experience.
Veeva president and CCO Tom Schwenger emphasized that the platform is engineered to support adaptive commercial strategies, which are increasingly necessary for bringing specialized treatments to market. By deploying Vault CRM, Biogen joins a network of over 1,500 life sciences organizations currently utilizing Veeva’s suite of applications and data services. The implementation is expected to provide a unified foundation for the pharmaceutical company's global commercial activities.
