Interest in the event is already high, with 624 individuals expressing plans to attend and 135 confirmed registrants representing 125 distinct military communities and overseas schools. These participants share a unique cultural background defined by frequent moves, rapid adaptation, and the necessity of forming quick connections. Joe Condrill, president of OVERSEAS BRATS, notes that despite growing up in different decades and across vastly different continents, these individuals recognize a mirrored childhood in one another. The gathering serves as a rare space where the complex identity of a 'military brat' is not just understood, but celebrated.
