New Frontier Minerals Elevates Eldorado Prospect to High-Priority Status

A fresh prospectivity analysis of New Frontier Minerals’ NWQ Copper Project in Queensland has pushed the Eldorado site to the forefront of the company’s exploration pipeline. Positioned second only to the flagship Big One deposit, Eldorado now stands as a primary focus for upcoming drilling and geological assessment.

The review encompassed more than 20 distinct copper prospects across the 977-square-kilometer NWQ tenement package. Beyond identifying Eldorado as a key target, the assessment reaffirmed the geological importance of the historic Mt. Storm Copper Mine within the same district. Company chairman Gerrard Hall noted that Eldorado’s emergence is driven by its substantial geochemical signature and a structural setting that suggests high potential for further discovery.

New Frontier Minerals continues to prioritize these base metal assets as part of a broader portfolio that includes rare earth and niobium projects in Australia and Canada. While the Big One deposit remains the most advanced asset in the region, the company is shifting resources to validate the scale of the Eldorado prospect as it seeks to bolster its supply of metals essential for global electrification efforts.
