Miller Industries Secures Funding for Michigan Manufacturing Hub

In a move to expand its production capacity, Miller Industries has finalized build-to-suit financing for a 300,000-square-foot facility in Fenton, Michigan. The capital for the development was provided by TPG’s Net Lease business, with Brown Gibbons Lang & Company acting as the exclusive financial advisor for the transaction.

Upon completion of the site, Miller Industries—a portfolio company backed by Tower Arch Capital—will occupy the space under a long-term lease agreement. The new plant is designed to consolidate the company’s advanced manufacturing operations, ranging from robotic welding and structural steel fabrication to specialized powder-coat finishes.

This expansion supports Miller Industries' role as a provider of custom modular electrical and mechanical systems for high-demand sectors, including semiconductor fabrication, data centers, and pharmaceutical manufacturing. While financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the project underscores a growing trend of private equity-backed firms utilizing sale-leaseback and development financing to scale their industrial footprint.
