NTT DATA Acquires Netgain to Scale ServiceNow Operations in Sweden

NTT DATA is consolidating its grip on the Nordic digital services market by acquiring Stockholm-based Netgain. The move merges the Swedish specialist with The Cloud People—an entity acquired by NTT DATA in 2025—to establish the largest pure-play ServiceNow provider in the country, pending final regulatory approval.

Founded in 2008, Netgain brings over 160 ServiceNow certifications and a client base spanning both the Swedish public and private sectors. By integrating the firm into its Business Solutions unit, NTT DATA aims to accelerate AI-driven workflow automation and enterprise transformation initiatives across the region. The deal follows a broader strategic expansion of NTT DATA’s partnership with ServiceNow, signaling a pivot toward specialized platform expertise to complement its traditional SAP-focused business model.

Bjørn Jarl, CEO of The Cloud People, noted that the alignment between the two organizations centers on a shared focus on platform value and customer-centric service. Following the close of the transaction, which is expected within weeks, the Stockholm firm will operate under the banner Netgain – an NTT DATA company. This acquisition provides Netgain’s existing clients access to NTT DATA’s global network and resource pool while maintaining the localized expertise that defined the company during its decade-long tenure within the CombinedX group.
