Hampden-Smith arrives with two decades of international leadership experience, most recently serving as SVP Supply for North America at Reckitt. His career trajectory is defined by complex operational transformations, cost-efficiency programs, and the integration of acquired businesses. CEO Christoffer Lorenzen highlighted Hampden-Smith’s ability to drive performance against aggressive benchmarks as a primary factor in the appointment.
The transition marks the end of a decade-long tenure for outgoing COO Jonathan Kimber, who played a central role in Karo’s M&A strategy and the integration of new brands through technology transfers. As the company looks to expand its presence across more than 90 countries with brands like E45 and Lamisil, Hampden-Smith plans to focus on simplifying workflows and enhancing service reliability to support the company’s growth trajectory.
