The legal action, brought by Levi & Korsinsky, LLP, covers shareholders who purchased securities between October 24, 2024, and April 8, 2026. The complaint alleges that throughout this period, leadership repeatedly characterized the integration of OWYN as proceeding according to plan, even as the company suffered from the departure of key managerial personnel and significant product quality issues that harmed distributor relationships.
According to the lawsuit, these internal struggles were masked by increased administrative spending and aggressive discounting, which failed to prevent a sharp contraction in sales. By the second quarter of fiscal 2026, OWYN sales had dropped nearly 17% year-over-year. The situation culminated in a $187 million charge disclosed in April 2026 and a reduction in fiscal 2026 net sales guidance to a range of negative 7% to 10%. Investors seeking to act as lead plaintiff in the case must file their applications by October 13, 2026.
