The collaboration creates a continuous data pipeline where tool lists, cycle times, and program numbers flow automatically from Mastercam into ProShop’s environment. This integration utilizes Chip, ProShop’s native AI, to analyze incoming program data, allowing estimators to move away from manual guesswork and base their production planning on verified metrics from previous jobs.

Under a new Third-Party Developer Agreement, ProShop gains the technical access required to build tools that ensure tighter interoperability between the two platforms. According to ProShop CEO Alison Hawkins, the goal is to stop the manual re-entry of information already contained within the CAM system, which she notes creates unnecessary risk and slows down project timelines. Mastercam President Russ Bukowski added that the move supports an open ecosystem, granting manufacturers more flexibility as they scale their production lifecycles. Both companies plan to demonstrate the integrated workflow at the upcoming International Manufacturing Technology Show in Chicago.
