Gigasoft Brings High-Performance C++ Charting Engine to the Web

Dallas-based Gigasoft has launched ProEssentialsJS, a JavaScript charting library powered by a native C++ engine originally developed in 1995. By leveraging WebAssembly and a zero-copy data path, the tool claims to outperform industry competitors, processing up to 700 million data points per second during intense rendering tasks.

The library breaks from traditional web-based charting by utilizing a desktop-grade engine that eliminates common WebGL context limitations. Because it relies on Canvas2D rather than standard GPU contexts, developers can embed multiple charts on a single page without hitting browser caps. Performance benchmarks conducted on an RTX 3090 show the engine handling 25 million points at 25 frames per second, significantly outpacing the 10 million points per second reported by competitors like LightningChart.

To ensure reliability in engineering and scientific environments, Gigasoft integrated a validation system for AI coding assistants. Using the pe_query.py tool and a dedicated Ai-Data repository, the engine verifies code suggestions against its compiled logic, preventing the hallucinations common in documentation-based AI models. The platform is available for free commercial use for companies generating under $250,000 in annual revenue, with no domain locking or activation requirements. Gigasoft, which has served clients including NASA and Siemens for nearly three decades, designed this port to handle full-data-replacement workflows such as 3D surfaces and 2D contours.
