iHire Launches Analytics Dashboards to Gauge Talent Market Trends

Recruitment platform iHire has introduced two new analytics tools designed to provide employers with real-time data on labor market demand and shifting job seeker sentiment. By integrating candidate availability metrics with direct survey feedback, the company aims to help hiring managers refine their recruitment strategies and adjust messaging to attract top talent.

The new Hiring Market Insights dashboard allows recruiters to analyze talent supply and job demand across metro, state, and national levels. By tracking the percentage of active candidates possessing specific skills alongside current job posting trends, the tool calculates a 'Hiring Opportunity' score. This metric is intended to help organizations identify geographic gaps and optimize their job listings based on localized competition.

Complementing this, the Candidate Insights tool shifts focus to the job seeker's perspective. It aggregates data from on-site surveys covering topics such as workplace preferences, employment dealbreakers, and the integration of AI in the hiring process. These insights enable recruiters to adjust job descriptions—for instance, by highlighting flexible schedules or specific benefits that candidates have identified as critical to their decision-making. Kyle Gamble, iHire’s VP of Product, stated that combining these perspectives provides a clearer picture of the current talent landscape, allowing businesses to remain competitive in a complex hiring environment. Registered employers can access these features directly through their existing iHire account dashboards.
