The transition marks a strategic shift toward operational agility, allowing the firm to expand its construction capabilities and pursue new market opportunities while maintaining existing long-term government contracts.

Inspirit Equity founder Charles Gores cited the growing demand for infrastructure resilience as a key driver for the acquisition. The firm managed the complex separation process—which involved untangling financial, contractual, and organizational structures—to ensure the new entity could function as a standalone enterprise. Managing Director Ryan Kanaley noted that the company is now positioned to pursue both organic growth and potential mergers and acquisitions. While the financial terms of the deal remain undisclosed, the firm has already begun deploying resources to strengthen the business’s internal systems and development teams.
