Based on this evidence, The Arkin Group and Kataoka retracted their earlier suggestions that Troost had fabricated claims about Srivastava’s intelligence background. For his part, Troost acknowledged that the defendants acted in good faith and without prior knowledge of any disinformation efforts. He further clarified that he does not implicate The Arkin Group or Kataoka in the separate RICO enterprise lawsuit he is currently pursuing against Srivastava and other parties.
