Asieris Pharmaceuticals Enters Harvest Period as CEVIRA Sales Climb

Shanghai-based Asieris Pharmaceuticals is accelerating its transition to a full-scale biopharma company, reporting a 19.28% year-over-year revenue increase to RMB 155 million for the first half of 2026, bolstered by the rapid commercial rollout of its non-invasive cervical lesion treatment, CEVIRA.

The company’s shift from a biotech-focused model to an integrated commercial operation centers on the successful launch of CEVIRA, the world’s first non-surgical treatment for precancerous cervical lesions. Since receiving regulatory approval in China this March, the therapy has reached over 150 hospitals across 30 cities. Asieris has deployed a specialized team of more than 100 professionals to manage physician education and market access, aiming to replace traditional excision procedures with photodynamic therapy. This commercial momentum is supported by the Chinese Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology, which granted the product Level 1A evidence status in its 2026 consensus guidelines.

Beyond its core women’s health portfolio, Asieris is expanding its urologic oncology footprint. The firm recently secured EU CE certification for its portable single-use blue-light flexible cystoscope and is moving forward with the market introduction of its Hexvix imaging agent. R&D operations remain aggressive, with the company initiating clinical trials for its APL-2501 ADC candidate in both the U.S. and China. CEO Dr. Kevin Pan noted that these milestones validate the company’s current strategy, as it balances steady sales growth with a high-potential pipeline spanning oncology and inflammatory diseases.
