IntelAgree Updates Saige Assist with Automated Workflows

Tampa-based IntelAgree has introduced new skill-based automation and permission-gated contract forms to its AI-powered lifecycle management platform. The update allows users to execute repeatable workflows through its Saige Assist agent and streamlines document intake by hiding irrelevant fields from business users during the contract creation process.

The new "Skills" functionality enables teams to save recurring workflows as Markdown files, which the AI agent can execute on demand. By leveraging an organization's existing repository—including version history, redlines, and comments—the tool provides consistent analysis for tasks like biweekly reporting or standard contract reviews. Users can manage these skills directly within the platform or via a Microsoft Word add-in, with the ability to pause or redirect the AI mid-request to ensure human oversight remains the primary driver of contract strategy.

Beyond automation, the release targets operational friction through conditional form visibility. Administrators can now configure the "Define Contract" wizard to hide specific questions based on user roles, ensuring that business users only interact with fields relevant to their specific permissions. According to Michael Schacter, Director of Product Management, this refinement is intended to make the request process more intuitive, preventing requesters from getting stalled by unnecessary data entry requirements. The updates are currently available to all platform users as part of IntelAgree’s broader effort to integrate AI more deeply into standard legal workflows.
