This hands-on history informs his new mandate: helping clients diagnose persistent issues like ink leakage in chambers and maintaining print consistency during high-volume runs.

By integrating Engels’ expertise in liquid and offset inks, the company is shifting toward a more holistic model of pressroom consultation. Tim Allen, Director of Sales, stated that the internal team has already begun leveraging these insights to resolve technical imbalances. Engels will focus on training customer staff on ink maintenance, ensuring the interaction between doctor blades, end seals, and chemical applications remains optimized.
