Zoomd Technologies Posts $1.2 Million Profit Amid Revenue Recovery

Zoomd Technologies reported $7.7 million in revenue for the second quarter of 2026, marking an 11% increase over the previous quarter. Despite a significant year-over-year decline compared to 2025, the marketing technology firm maintained profitability and closed the period with $22.6 million in cash and zero bank debt.

The company’s performance reflects a shift toward operational efficiency, largely driven by the integration of AI-developed tools that have streamlined internal workloads. While revenues dropped from $19.6 million in the same quarter last year—a result of model changes implemented by two major clients—CEO Ido Almany noted that the business is showing signs of stabilization and growth. Net income reached $1.2 million, supported by a 7% reduction in total operating expenses compared to the prior year.

Zoomd is currently leveraging its strong cash position to execute a Normal Course Issuer Bid (NCIB) program, having repurchased 131,000 common shares during the quarter. Chairman Amit Bohensky stated that the buybacks reflect confidence in the company’s long-term value, as management continues to pursue both organic and inorganic growth opportunities. The firm's gross margin remained steady at 43%, consistent with historical performance, as it navigates evolving market conditions and privacy-related shifts in the digital advertising sector.
