TCL Adds 11-Inch Models to TAB A1 Tablet Series

TCL is broadening its tablet footprint with two new 11-inch devices, the TAB A1 and the TAB A1 NXTPAPER. By integrating proprietary display technology designed to minimize eye strain alongside standard high-resolution screens, the manufacturer aims to capture a wider range of users seeking a balance between portability and daily productivity.

Both tablets share a foundation of 6GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, and a MediaTek Helio G100 processor. Powering these devices is an 8000mAh battery capable of 20W charging, all housed within an ultra-slim 0.24-inch frame weighing just under one pound. While the standard TAB A1 focuses on immersive media consumption with a 2.1K, 90Hz display and quad stereo speakers, the NXTPAPER variant prioritizes visual comfort. It utilizes TCL’s 3A Crystal technology to mimic a paper-like appearance, making it better suited for extended reading or note-taking sessions. To support professional tasks, the NXTPAPER model ships with an included T-Pen 2 and a protective flipcase.

These additions complete the current TAB A1 family, which now spans from the larger 12.2-inch Plus series to the more compact 11-inch offerings. The standard TCL TAB A1 carries a retail price of $189.99, while the NXTPAPER edition is priced at $249.99. Both models are available immediately through Amazon and the official TCL website.
