Long joins the company from Rise Baking Company, where he served as Chief Transformation Officer. His background includes a tenure as President of Table Talk Pies and a consulting role at Boston Consulting Group, preceded by over a decade of service as a U.S. Navy aviator. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and brings experience in commercial transformation to his new role.

Toscano founded the business in 2015, carving out a niche in the nutritional bar, bakery, and ice cream sectors by focusing on high-quality, better-for-you ingredients. As Chairman, he intends to maintain his involvement in the company’s strategic roadmap. The leadership change comes as Barchemy seeks to scale its manufacturing capabilities while preserving the collaborative product development model that has defined its growth over the last decade.
