This latest tranche of acquisitions marks a significant step in the buyback initiative announced on August 6. Since the program’s inception, the company has recovered 16,257,687 shares, representing a total capital outlay of €245,688,912. The ongoing efforts are part of a broader strategy to manage the company's equity structure under the oversight of EU Market Abuse Regulations.

Universal Music Group continues to provide aggregated transaction data on its investor relations portal, maintaining transparency as it nears the full allocation of the authorized funds. With over 98% of the €250 million budget already utilized, the program is poised to conclude shortly, reflecting the company’s current approach to capital allocation in the music-based entertainment sector.
